MIPTV (2011)
FanTrust President Catherine Warren will be returning to moderate the Online and Social Games panel in Cannes as part of MIP TV’s 2011 Content 360 Pitching Challenge.
The live and always lively competition spans 4 categories as independent producers, agencies and digital designers pitch A-list commissioners on original interactive cross-platform content ideas.
In the 5 years since its inception, Content 360 has received thousands of ideas from dozens of countries around the world and has awarded hundreds of thousands of Euros in development funding.
This year’s categories are:
- Interactive and Cross-Media Digital Entertainment Format: Identifying a key individual or company in the digital media space with whom to develop, produce and distribute a global digital entertainment format, sponsored by Fremantle and Media/RTL Group
- Online and Social Games: Looking to showcase the growing convergence between games, TV, online and mobile platforms
- Smart Phone App for Youth Engagement – Looking at a variety of mobile apps with a focus on Media Literacy, sponsored by The National Film Board of Canada
- Rich Media Tablet and Social TV Apps – Looking for innovative examples of apps to engage audiences across multiple platforms
FanTrust will also be hosting meetings at MIP TV to help rights holders monetize and socialize their content across multiple platforms. To set up a meeting, please contact Travis Dudfield at travis@fantrust.com.
