THE NIGHT OF THE PRODUCER
It takes a special breed of professional to succeed in New York City. Members of the New York community thrive on the energy, the excitement and even the incredible challenges that come with producing media in this city. The Producers Guild of America East Coast Chapter, along with the New Media Council East, is hosting a members only celebration of that energy, excitement and community as our fellow producers come together for an evening of conversation with a pair of New York producing legends:
JANE ROSENTHAL
and
ROBERT GREENBERG
Jane Rosenthal co-founded Tribeca Productions and the Tribeca Film Center with Robert De Niro. She is also the creator, along with De Niro, of the first annual Tribeca Film Festival in May 2002 to contribute to the cultural and economic recovery of Lower Manhattan after the tragedy of September 11, 2001. Rosenthal’s numerous producing credits include The Good Shepherd, Rent, Meet the Fockers, and the Academy Award-nominated Wag the Dog. www.tribecafilmfestival.org.
Bob Greenberg has been a pioneer in the advertising and digital communications industry for three decades. His company, R/GA has created groundbreaking visual effects for films such as Superman, Alien, Predator, Seven and Zelig. R/GA’s body of work spans 400 feature films and 4,000 television commercials. Last year, R/GA was recognized by Adweek as the “Interactive Agency of the Year” and named on Advertising Age’s Agency Top 10 “A-List”. www.rga.com.
